I’m Victor H Cruz, the proud owner of CE&M Janitorial Services.

I started learning the ropes of the cleaning business in 1999 while working with various janitorial companies. I loved the interaction with customers and the opportunity to meet new people daily.
I also enjoyed visiting new facilities to clean. As I used to walk past buildings on the high street, I was always curious about what the companies around there did. Most of the time, I could guess from the name, but through my cleaning role, I was able to take a sneak peek inside, which I found exciting.
Eventually, in 2007, I moved with my wife from Watsonville, CA, and tried my hand at a different career path. However, after shifting from one job to the next, I decided to go back to what I knew best.
I soon started to impress clients with my unique cleaning approach and customer service, which delighted my boss. Consequently, after working hard for two years, my boss offered me the opportunity to start a cleaning business of my own. The best part was that he allowed me to keep some of their existing clients.
I immediately jumped at the chance and began to complete the necessary paperwork. Once I secured my license and insurance, I launched my cleaning services in 2009.
Since opening my enterprise twelve years ago, the cleaning industry has evolved considerably. I remember when I first started, I had to lug around heavy vacuums, and the chemical cleaners available required vigorous scrubbing to remove stains.
Thankfully, due to advances in technology, equipment is lighter and more compact, while cleaning solutions produce enhanced results which makes clients happy. I always try to stay updated with the latest products and industry trends so I can remain relevant and deliver efficient services.
Besides, I work with integrity, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart is that I maintain regular communication. It’s enabled me to develop trust and close relationships with clients.
I also attribute my success to empowering my employees by meticulously supervising their work and offering them continuous training. I’ve noticed that giving them new tools and techniques to use tends to create quality outcomes consistently.
As a result, when clients call, email, or leave a present for my cleaners with a thank you note, it encourages me to keep giving my best. In addition, it’s enabled my firm to establish a strong presence in the Rogue Valley area.
When I’m not organizing cleaning services for clients, I like to collect Barbie dolls, coins, and bills, and I love building Lego collectibles. I’m also fond of trains, so I purchase scale trains or look for new places to ride on one.
